Olivia Wood is Post Production Supervisor and Senior Editor at CYM Media. She is a precision-driven video editor, and, having edited and delivered over 1,000 videos to clients across the automotive, beauty, and hospitality industries, she is adept at maintaining attention-to-detail on a deadline. 

With experience in both long- and short-form video editing, Olivia has a knack for tailoring every project’s pacing to appropriately suit its purpose and help it resonate with its intended audience. As a trained multi-instrumentalist of over a decade, Olivia’s rhythmic sensibility is informed by her musical background. She lends a musician’s ear to every project.

On set, Olivia extends her editing experience to her various roles as director, producer, and cinematographer. She is able to anticipate how the footage captured on the ground will work in the edit and plan accordingly. On her first short film, Repeat, she brought all of these skills together, serving as writer, director, cinematographer, editor, and composer.  

Olivia holds an Associate of Arts in Audio Video Media Production, and she is always looking to learn and improve her skill set. Her major career ambitions include editing and scoring a feature-length film for the big screen and one day starting a production company of her own.

Above all else, she wants to tell stories that connect and move people.
