Olivia Wood is Senior Editor and Post Production Supervisor at CYM Media. She has a knack for eye-catching graphics and rhythmic editing.

Having recently finished her Associate of Arts in Audio Video Media Production, Olivia has developed a number of skills: from lighting design and camera operation to editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and composing in Ableton Live. She put these skills to work writing, directing, shooting, editing, and composing for her first short film, Repeat. Although she is well-rounded in terms of her production skill set and enjoys working both on set and in an edit suite, her passion lies in post-production. A multi-instrumentalist for over a decade, Olivia edits with a musician’s rhythmic sensibility, bringing a natural pacing to any edit, regardless of whether or not that edit is set to music. And, likewise, as a composer, a pursuit of visual and aural unity informs her work, resulting in compositions that accentuate an edit’s visual rhythm and elevate the narrative at hand.

Experienced in volume editing, Olivia brings a cohesive style to all of her edits and can work with precision on a deadline. She is always looking to learn and improve her skill set. Her major career ambitions include editing and scoring a feature-length film and one day starting a production company and directing a full-length feature of her own. She daydreams about starting a band on the side.
